Playtech the online software supplier for a range of well known UK Playtech Casinos has reported a 46% increase in revenues for 2011. This impressive statistic does however mask the fact that there appear to be a series of underlying tensions at the software provider.

The join venture that Playtech has with William Hill Online is due to be renogotiated this year and after all of the shenanigans that took place it is difficult to tell what William Hill will be doing in regards to the stake that Playtech own in the online venture.

Playtech revenue grew to reach over the €200 million mark in 2011 and it anticipates further growth as it has been very active in both aquiring other companies and ensuring that it is active in regulated markets. Playtech has a range of products including Casino, Poker and Bingo. It has in the last few years added Sportsbetting and Live Casino games.

Whilst there are a range of postiives to take from this financial report there are also a series of challenges that need to be sorted out. Most notably the situation in regards to William Hill. Playtech have also aquired the affiliate marketing company Europartners during 2011 and this is one of the major issues that it needs to deal with.

Europartners is currently one of the least respected Playtech Casino affiliate programs due to the lack of transparency and the constant issues that surround the program. The range of issues highlighted by the current marketing partners on the program range from non payment of earnings to a large range of statistic issues means that it is one of the least trusted casino affiliate programs that promote Playtech Casinos. So while there are a host of positives to reflect on, there is certainly much work that needs to yet be done by Playtech.
